Sorry this took me a while to get out to you wonderful tumblr-ites, but it’s been a busy week or so for me. We’re quickly closing in on finishing off the background painting portion of season one on Motorcity over at Titmouse while anxiously awaiting word if there will be a season two. My last day working on season one was this past Thursday :( Not that sad actually. I will definitely miss getting to hang out with so many incredibly talented and inspiring artist friends each and every day, but that’s the nature of this business, and I’m hopeful that we will all be re-united on an even bigger and better season two before too long. In the meantime I’ll play video games, draw and paint lots of things for myself and maybe even a little freelance or commission work here and there if I’m lucky. Best of all though, I’ll get plenty of time to relax and enjoy myself doing whatever I like!
On top of all that… Comic-Con was this past weekend too. I was there for a short while and managed to sneak into the disney XD panel but unfortunatley couldn’t make it to the meet-up on Saturday. Sorry guys. I’ll be out and around at various events and conventions in the future though and look forward to meeting you then.
In the meantime… I’m off to practice drawing Julie so I can put together an awesome new promo poster for this weeks Julie-centric episode! Oh, right… and here’s some of the paintings I did for the Duke of Detroit Presents episode that aired last week. I almost forgot. I’ll definitely do my best to continue to put up new background painting posts and promo images each week as new Motorcity episodes continue to air.

I was rewatching this episode when I first saw the Sushi sign, and I have to say that I may have squealed with joy a little. THEY STILL HAVE SUSHI IN THE FUTURE!!! YES.
That said - I am always so impressed with the art that goes into Motorcity. You guys put in so much great work!
