BUUUUUUUUUH FIC DESIGNS BUUUH.

A version of Fix-It Felix and Wreck-It Ralph from a glitchy game of Fix-It Felix Jr. Even though Ralph’s got more visible texture difficulties, this Felix actually has the brunt of the glitch - anything he touches starts to glitch permanently, and eventually he got so bad that he became an honest-to-god, barrier-blocked glitch. And the worst part was that he was outside his game when the worst of it hit, so his inability to reenter FIFJ sent the whole ship down when it was rendered unplayable.
This Ralph has always stayed with him, though - once Felix started to glitch and pass it to anything he touched, the Nicelanders got scared of him… and Ralph could sympathize. To this point, this Ralph stuck by him even as they got unplugged, and basically became his closest ally.

Of course, things got much worse after that, but that’s a further story. :}
