It's Not Easy, Being Green
It’s… Burner monsters???
Okay, this was mostly an excuse to draw Julie as a Frankenstein-style person after listening to Patchwork Girlfriend about 20 billion times. I was also inspired by Jo’s little cyclops Mike that he drew and his conversations with friends about monster-Burners. But I decided to do mine a little differently, obviously lol.
Mike is supposed to be some kind of reptilian or semi-aquatic creature, and he’s probably got a little tail action going on down there.Chuck’s breed probably comes from somewhere cold, and they grow large, shaggy manes as they get older.Julie was either put together, or comes from a breed that attempts to mimic or builds themselves out of humans. Either way, most other monsters are fairly put-off by their human looks.Dutch is your average cyclops, though I have a feeling that he has a few more arms than is strictly normal.Texas is from a breed that’s closely related to one of my own breeds - the differences are mainly in color, horn number, temperament, and general body structure. Also Texas’ tail would be a tiny fluffy bunny-tail nub, which would be his breed’s standard.
I’m actually thinking of tweaking these designs so that I can use them as background monsters in the comic those little guys are from. @u@;; I really like Chuck and Dutch…
